    Nissan Scrappage allowance - scrapped car must have valid NCT

    how crazy is that ?

    or is this a normal requirement for all scrappage schemes.

    what does the dealer do with the cars
    say for example
    A 1998 ford fiesta with a valid NCT cert

    you never see a dealer selling a car like this so where does it end up ?

    Its not really scrappage, its just trade in by a diffrent name. The dealers will sell your "scrapped car" on.

    I think that's good. I hate the idea of perfectly good cars being crushed.

    ok so, looking at the earlier example i offered,
    the dealer receives the car to be scrapped and sells it on. what will he get? €300 if he's lucky

    but he has actually given €4000 off a new car.

    so is it safe to say that the price (with scrappage)
    could be achieved by a buyer with no scappage car to offer
    or very close to it.

    Considering that the cost of credit on a micra is 3,321 + documentation fee, they could afford to crush whatever you give them no matter how good it is.
    Is this scrappage* deal only available if you go for nissan finance?

    *anyone else completely unable to say scrappage like a normal person after those Ford swap-aaaaaawwwwwe-je ads.
    I'd love to see how many times I say swapaawje or scrappaaawje in a Ford garaawwje before the staff apologised for that ad.
