    Hi All,

Heading out Friday Night with the missus, is there any bars that play indie/alternative music on Friday nights or somewhere where there will be decent live music. Id rather be in an old mans pub myself supping a couple of pints but id be fighting a loosing battle.

    Thanks,

Nothing in Dolans this Friday night, there will be trad as usual in the bar.
Costelloes (by the dole office) is a brilliant indie night club, bar downstairs will almost pass for the old man pub you yearn for, very diverse crowd down there, have a few pints and you can pop upstairs for a boogie (or a mosh) before going back to your pints.
It's an experience that shouldn't be missed.

Costelloes is great but it seems there's a new generation in there now. Most of the clientele are about half my age :(
