Accepted under a different course code than I gave

Got my acceptance letter but it says I have been accepted under the course code 456, but my course is actually 123 (no they're not the real codes). 456 is the 4 year course equivalent of the one I am in now. I am going into the 3rd of 123 now and will be in 456 next year. I don't know how they made the mistake because I obviously put down 123 in my application.

Anyway, it says no payment is made until the college confirms I am registered and attending the course I was awarded under. Should that be a problem since I have been accepted under a level 8 course but I'm actually registered on a level 7? Did it ever happen to anyone else?

You should make SUSI aware of this as soon as possible. This may not effect your grant application but it may confuse the registration withy your college and it may come back as not registered.
Just to be sure, ask SUSI to correct the error in an email.
