Advice for football betting syndicate

    Hey all, a few mates are looking to start a betting group.
    Seems straight forward enough.
    5 lads throw a tenner in for a 50 quid bet each week.
    (In reality the person will probably just use their own 50 each week rather than chasing the cash)

    The person who's turn it is has control over the bet they put on and posts a screen grab to whats app.

    A spreadsheet controls who's go it is and in goings and out goings.

    Is anyone else in a similar syndicate?
    Do you have ground rules? Obvious ones we haven't thought of before we ruin our friendships : )

    You would want to have a time that the person placing the bets informs the others of what they have bet on, if they miss this deadline there should be a penalty for them like they cover the full €50 bet the following week along with the unused money already in for the current week, otherwise bets don't get placed and it's ruined.
