    Hi all,
I have a speaker system setup that plays via a headphone amp. At the moment I connect a spare phone to the input and stream via YouTube.

However, is it possible to use my own phone and buetooth to the connected phone. It makes life easier, than needing to get up and change songs every now and again. Both phones are android.

    Thanks

Why not install something like team viewer quick support and control the phone from your phone to stream to the radio.

Buy a cheap blutooth audio transiever on eBay, shouldn't be much more than a fiver.

Instead of the phone you use to play YouTube, you can just plug in the transiever then connect your current phone to this.

I was looking at these. Are they decent quality? I'm running 6 x 100w monitors, 4 x 75w and 2 x 50w subs. Im running 15metre cables around, so need to make sure they at decent quality (as much as you'll get for eBay Bluetooth jacks!), as any dip in performance will be amplified through the setup!

The spare phone I'm using has 300mb RAM so I'm not sure if it'll be able to manage any RAM consuming apps.

Mine is anyway, its a Sony one. Paid a little extra for it. Its actually from a wireless headphone set and has a built in rechargeable battery and it works from the end of the garden.

Any name on it? I'll have a search for it :-)

I've streamed Youtube directly from my phone via bluetooth to the Bose Soundlink Mini... No problem, works great...

    DLNA??

Using Bubble UPnP, surely something to be considered??

See this article, perhaps not exactly, but local wifi must be better than BT?

but but but if your streaming from youtube what sound quality do you think your getting!
you can higher quality bluetooth adapters, look for aptX, for higher quality from phone to amp but if your only source is youtube i'm not sure it matters much!

edit : should say that your phone needs to be aptX compatible as well as the adapter!
