Ford Cmax aftermarket DPF

Our 2005 1.6 TDCi has just passed 140,000 miles and the DPF is now throwing the dreaded P2002 fault code. The usual due diligence with the pressure sensor, associated hoses and close look at the live data around the DPF, and the fact that we've gone twice beyond the expected (Ford say 70,000 miles) lifespan, I'd say with reasonable confidence that a new DPF is in order. We did try using some DPF cleaning fluid and it made no difference. The DPF also has a "rattle" from it if you tap it with the heel of your hand. Perhaps the porous block has broken up..? It's frequently regenerating too which is not good in the long term for the engine generally and overall fuel consumption.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to ask if anyone has gone the aftermarket or secondhand route with DPF's for these? The genuine route it costing over a grand... Professionally cleaning the DPF is perhaps not likely to work given the perceived condition of the DPF, and would cost 50% of the aftermarket price anyway.

Also please don't suggest the DPF delete route because I'm not going that way... :)

Bosal do a dpf for these, really good fit\quality. Fitted a few now with no issues as of yet. Should be able to get in any motor factors. Think they were 350/400ish incl clamp and gasket.
