Would a magnetic drill catch for making holes in blueband piping to fix on stokbord or is there another type drill I should know about? I don't fancy tapping and drilling a load of holes and I can't imagine tek screws being any easier to catch

There's an attachment for rotabroach drills that are basically 2 plates that bolt onto either side of the magnet and sit down against the pipe, they keep it straight and help it clamp, but they only work on 60mm plus pipe

You could make a sort of c shaped clamp, basically a lump of large angle the length of the magnet, then have 2 heavy nuts welded off one edge so that their centred in line with the chuck of the mag, drop it over the pipe clamp it up with 2 bolts through the nuts the clamp the mag onto it, sorta hard to explain but hopefully ya get me
