    Hi,
So I'll try keep this short. I've been on the pill for the past 2 years, all women in my family all have womb / ovary problems like fibroids / polyps and cervical cancer resulting in hysterectomies. I Went on the pill due to extreme pain during periods.
Over the past 8 months or so I've been having extreme shooting stabbing pains during the week I don't take my pill/ period week BUT these are not normal period cramps. Pain gets so bad I nearly pass out and can't move until it stops. Pain only lasts a few seconds but comes on a few times a day. I haven't gone to the doctor because I thought it would pass but it obviously hasn't and isn't going to- any advice on what to expect if I do go to docs ? I'm terrifed he'll just dismiss it as normal. Anyone have the same thing and know what this is?
    Thanks!

With your family history, it won't be dismissed as normal. I have PCOS and that wouldn't even be normal for me!

Definitely go to your doctor. If your doctor doesn't take it seriously for whatever reason, go to another doctor.

OP, nobody here can offer you a reliable diagnosis. Go to a doctor.
