510,527 acres to be exact. Just a little smaller than the whole of county Limerick. Also includes over 1,000 oil producing wells.
Yours for just $ 725,000,000.

    So it's not a farm

Edit: Only 30,000 acres of Farmland.

I wonder how much profit you would make in a year from 1000 oil wells and how long left in them before drying up? Ridiculous as it sound, 725,000,000 dollars seems alot but if you are selling oil I wonder would you make it back?!

If it was any good it would be sold already.

An oil well can produce up to 100 barrels of oil each day. Assuming average oil price each month, that can take in about 143,760,000 US Dollars per month. Although that would be before expenses such as equipment maintenance, monitoring, transportation and not to mention, the health and safety checks would be very strict.

With just the oil wells, you already have made your profit after a year of operating. There is something else that's making the property very cheap.

It was going to cost a fortune to pump water to the far fields, so he went to drill a well... fukkin' struck oil again.

A lot of those wells in the USA are only throwing out a few barrels a day. Hardly enough to keep the door hinge oiled, most of them.

Yeah but think of the bragging rights. 500,000 acres takes some beating.

By the time you get back to first field the stemmy grass would be 3ft

By the time you'd get back to the first field you'd be eligible for the pension and the tractor would be seized in a ditch 100miles back.

It's like the joke about Paddy talking to a yank in the pub. The yank asks him what he does for a living and Paddy says he is a farmer. How big is your farm asks the yank. Ah, about 30 acres says Paddy. 30 acres says the yank, my farm is so big that it would take one full day to drive across it on my tractor.
Ah, says paddy , I'd a tractor like that - got rid of it.
