Employment Travel Rest Day Entitlement?

In my work I travel to different countries (travel out of work hour in evening, weekends etc) also have to stay over in these countries for weekends.

Is there any law that writings entitle an employee for their day of travel back for traveling on weekend or for days back where the employee has to stay in another country over a weekend so that they'll be there for work on the Monday?

Or if anyone has similar circumstances what does their company provide for this?

Does your company have a time-in-leiu policy? Some people on very, very good salaries (+100,000e) do this as part of their job.

    No real laws around this

I do a fair bit of travelling and when required to travel abroad as an employee of you'd to travel on a weekend the day of travel was given as a holiday or time in lieu day, but days where you were somewhere having arrived and not working were not

Eg I'd a period of time where I'd to travel abroad on a Saturday due to lack of flights on Sunday. I'd a days leave added to my holidays for travelling on the Saturday, but not the Sunday, nor any weekends I had to stay if I was there for a few weeks

I also had an expense allowance for every day which was higher during weekends

Thanks for replies, nothing written down regarding days in lieu so very grey area with my company.

That sounds good that you'd get an extra allowance where you had to stay on a weekend day

It wasn't much, more to compensate for the fact I was away from home for up to three weeks at a time
