Good shafts and flights - where to get.

Hi,

Would anyone know where to get decent shafts and flights. I find that the flight just flies off the shaft on most shafts I have. I did get some aluminum ones and they bent when a following dart went down the flight. The guys on the telly seem to have plastic ones, and the flight never comes out.
Argos have sets cheap for around 15 euro with a load of shafts and flights, anyone know if they are any good or if there is a good place to get them, shop or online.

Get yourself a flight punch,
Start off by getting some nylon stems and some o rings and a flight punch. You punch a hole in the bottom of the flight and them stick the ring through it and then put the flight on the stem.
I am using them for around 5 years now and rarely have a flight pop off, when they do start to come off just change the stems as that will sort the problem.

Also the ones in Argos are Tune-up kits, they give you sample of various size flights and stems to see what set up suits you. I would stick with www.puredarts.co.uk when buying stuff. I have used them for over 20 years and never had any problems with orders.

Thanks Buster, that looks just the job.
I'll try puredarts, have only ever got my darts stuff in argos so far.
