Would this be OK as a spare wheel to get me home in emergency?

Looking at a spare for my car but the one I'm looking at has a 30mm difference in diameter to my existing wheels. Would it be OK to use as a space saver sort of option, just to get home or whatever?

Spare wheel would have 195/65 R15 tyres (overall diameter 634mm). My accord is 215/60 R16 (overall diameter 664mm)

It would be better than a space saver and would get you home but would not be ideal to leave on long term.

There's plenty of Accords in scrap yards, would it not be better to source an exact match, should only be talking small money?

The well in the boot is only able to take a space saver and a 215 tyre would protrude quite high above the floor of the boot. I thought a 195 tyre would be an acceptable compromise. It's the only one I can find for sale second hand with correct stud spacing. Genuine space saver from Honda is a very expensive 190 euro

So just to confirm, the 30mm difference in diameter between the spare wheel and remaining wheels would not make a difference for a short journey, even if it was on the front?

I think it'd pull to the side a bit if on the front, but imo'd be fine for a short journey.

You definitely don't want to have the smaller wheel on the front. In the event of a puncture on a front tyre I would probably take a back wheel off and put it on the front so that the spare wheel can go on the rear.

You don't want uneven tyres/wheels on the front, especially if you need to brake hard as it will pull and you may not expect it!

It would be OK as a spare / get me home wheel . That is just 15mm difference in the height of hub, or 47mm in the difference of the circumference between 2 wheels, but with weight of car when fitted, all these measurements may be out depending on inflation.

Could this throw up an ABS fault as pulses from reluctor rings would be different?
