Im a little confused as to what type of nozzle i require for my boiler, it has a riello burner unsure of model number as its worn off, it runs on kerosene too, a quick google brings up alot of different variations, is there a standard nozzle for kerosene?

Depends on the model. You need to remove the nozzle and bring it to a plumbers providers to get the same type

The nozzle it determined by the make and model of your boiler and also the output you require from your boiler to suit your heating requirements.Changing like for like nozzles in no way guarantees your boiler will be set up correctly or even close to correct. What make of boiler/model boiler have you..

one of the most common problems I find in the oil boiler servicing world is the wrong nozzle fitted to burners so off to the plumbers and get like for like and you still have the wrong one

as agusta says above a lot to more involved that just fitting a nozzle

And make sure your oil pressure, air settings and FGA reading is spot on

well i dont have a meter to check that so it will just be a very basic service as boiler has been neglected by previous home owner

you will pay approx. a tenner for a nozzle why not go the rest of the way and get it done properly

A burner incorrectly set up will cost you more than the price of a professional service.
