I'm looking to sell my communion necklace. It was bought about 10 years ago in Fields for about €100 (receipt gone). I'm really unsure of where to go about selling it. Scrappage gold stores, online forums, done deal...?

Could anyone offer any advice please? Thanks!

*edit: the necklace is also hall marked

Weigh it. €360 an ounce for scrap 9ct. (troy ounces@31.1g) Work out the value there and ask 10% less. You might get full scrap price. Don't expect anyone to pay premium for it as a necklace. There is only scrap value if it is not vintage, designer or something special.

Avoid the scrap buyers online or with stalls. They pay well below market. A private sale is your best bet. Advertise it on adverts. Alternatively, PM me. I'm an honest buyer.
