Hey, I worked in college 3 years ago and I was deducted emergency tax, every week instead of 70 Euro I was receiving only around 20, the rest went into tax.

Then I got P45 but I ended job.

Today, 3 years later I got new job, and I need P45.

I found some piece of paper which says P45, it has Parts 2, 3 and 4.

The form's part 3 and 4 is pretty much blank, while Part 2 is filled out with numbers.

I also found half of P60 (it's torn), it states that emergency basis was applied.

I am completely lost at this point what to do.

Oh, and I have lots of payslips too.

You can give them the p45 from 3 years ago or fill in a form 12a and send it off to revenue yourself.

You only ever get parts 2 to 4 of a p45 because part 1 is sent to revenue by your employer.

    +1 to the above.

Do yourself a favour, and call revenue and ask them for a balancing statement for the year you worked last, too.
