I'm very confused. The courses I applied for in GMIT all required a pass in fetac level 5. I got 2 distinctions and the rest were merits and passes, which meets the requirements for the course. Can anyone help? :(

Pretty sure the IT's which includes GMIT give their offers in the next CAO round on August 17th, don't panic! :-)

Have a look at the list of courses for GMIT on the CAO website - http://www.cao.ie/index.php?page=fetac_search2 and the code on the right hand side. Nearly all are coded as UPD which means you are competing with Leaving Cert students for your place so offers will be made in mid Aug when the LC results are issued. In the meantime calculate your points - see http://www2.cao.ie/fetac/FETAC_scoring.pdf and best of luck
