4 days in Copenhagen

    Got a nice ryanair deal so have booked 4 days in Copenhagen in the second week of Sept, mid week.

    I'm travelling on my own so I'll probably stay in a hostel to meet a few people. Both Generator Hostel and Danhostel seem good valuable. Anyone any recommendations? Is there a part of the city I should be looking to stay in?

    Tues: Arrive late afternoon. Walk around, get my bearings.
    Wed: Do all the city centre museums and attractions
    Thurs: Do a castle tour (Elsinore etc), maybe a kayak or boat tour of the city
    Fri: Legoland, Tivoli Gardens
    Sat: Head to Malmo early morning. Return for flight at 3pm

    What's the shopping like? Any tips on keeping costs down?

    I'm really interested in archaeology, history, cute little medieval towns, anywhere you'd suggest is a not miss?
