New shoes too big any ideas?

Hi folks i took a gamble on a pair of shoes online. They were heavily reduced from €325 to €95 and there site advised to go 2 sizes up. I'm normally a size 45 so went with a 47 which was the only size available. So they arrived and they're a little too big for me not too much but when you tighten up the velcro and buckle there's a little feet movement inside.

So has anybody any ideas is there any spacers that i can put in behind my ankle to make them fit?

    Thanks
    JC

Cheers for the replies. No don't want to send them back as i can't get a smaller size. But as previously said they are not too far off fitting so i think i'll try a heel liner and see how it goes.

    Cheers

Had a similar problem - just stuck a second insole in each shoe - worked for me

Personally I wouldn't compromise on a proper fitting shoe. I have before and they never feel right.

That's such an Irish trait. I got them at a bargain and god damn it I'm gonna make them work if it kills me. Just send them back and get a pair that fit properly.

If you re reard my original post I would send them back but they don't have any smaller sizes. I normally wear insoles so have to put them in and try them.

    P.S what makes you assume i'm Irish ???? :-)

Ill fitting shoes will lead to a whole host of problems, seriously, just get ones that fit without having to make them fit.

Getting them for a good price is a foolish argument to wear shoes 2 sizes too big.

Sell the ones you have here or on adverts and buy a new pair.
