Cats - Full Moon

Are cats affected by full moons? Ours usually sleeps through the night but the last 2 nights she's been going a bit mad at 4am/5am. I know they're unpredictable and have their crazy half hours but this seems a bit out of character for her. Just wondering!

If some humans are affected, it stands to reason that some cats would also be affected. It could be worth some research.

My cat goes nuts/does unusual things around a full moon so its normal.
