    As per thread title.

I realise there are lots of threads like this, and there isn't really much of an angle for interesting discourse, but this seems to be the place to put it.

    Discuss what?
Is this a new book you're writing?
Is it something that actually happened. In bulgaria in 1973?
Is it a premonition of a future event you saw while in trance?

I think he means ridiculous lenient sentencing. There's certainly one judge who instantly springs to mind.

Who is given sweets? The child or the man? This is why we need an article to refer to ..

I thought he was having a go with all those who rush to the www with the latest "Judge gave this sentence and I think it's too lenient" stories.

Mod locks thread, keeps sweets for himself.

Honestly OP I don't have a clue what this is supposed to be about and it seems like I'm not alone. If you want me to reopen the thread and add a bit more info the the opening post send me a PM.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
