Cuchulainn CC are proudly staging the final in the Skoda Sportive series this august, The Skoda Cuchulainn Challange.

Time: 10:00

Online Entry Closing Date: 28th August 2015 - 15:00

Distance: 70k/120k

Where: Crowne Plaza Hotel, Inner Relief Road, Dundalk, County Louth

The Cuchulainn C.C Dundalk Sportive takes place on Sunday 30th August 2015, commencing from Dundalk, Co. Louth. Choose from two routes of 72k and 122k taking in the amazing scenery of Co. Louth. Cyclists will witness spectacular views of the beautiful Louth countryside. The onward journey will take cyclists through some of Louth’s most scenic villages.

The Shorter route will take riders from Dundalk up through the Cooley Mountains to the historic Long Woman’s Grave climbing and then pass through the villages of Omeath and Carlingford before returning to Dundalk. The longer route will then take the participants through Castlebellingham, Dunleer, Ardee, Tallanstown, Louth Village passing the Cuchulainn Stone Knockbridge and then back to Dundalk. Total elevation for the entire route is 999 metres.

122km Route
Dundalk (Crowne Plaza Hotel) – Inner Relief Road – Ballymascanlon – Riverstown – Long Woman’s Grave – Cornamucklagh – Omeath – Carlingford – Grange – Ballymascanlon - Dundalk (Crowne Plaza Hotel) – Castlebellingham – M1 Exit 12 Roundabout (Dunleer) – Dromin - Ardee – Tallanstown – Louth Village – Knockbridge – Dundalk
