Arthritis and camel rides....

OK, I know I'm setting myself up here for a dozen smart replies, but here goes anyway! I fancy a camel ride on my next sun holiday, but I have arthritis in my hips and find it painful to spread my legs too wide (stop right there)...is it possible to ride a camel side-saddle, or maybe in some kind of side-mounted seat? Alternatively, anyone out there with arthritis ever ridden a camel without too much discomfort? Thanks! (OK, get the funny ones over and done, then get serious).

I went on a camel ride in Lanzarote years ago. 2 people sit on them, one on one side and one on the other. Bouncy as fcuk though, if I remember right.

I would say if you can comfortably cycle a bike you would be ok, if not don't do it.

Try riding a horse without a saddle, if you can do that you'll be ok on a camel.
