    Hi all,
My husband (German) and I (Irish) recently moved to Ireland, where we have both found jobs. My husband needed to apply for a PPS number, which took forever, and until he received it had to pay emergency tax at 41 %. We would now like to go about claiming back this emergency tax. Can anyone tell me how to do so? :)

Once he gives his employer his PPS number and comes off emergency tax he will get a refund through his wages. Make sure he isn't on a week1 basis.

He has to apply for tax credit cert (P12A form) as well.
