Best version of madden PS3/Xbox 360 era

Hi folks, Was thinking of picking up a second hand copy of madden to kill a bit of time in the evening. So, if online and up to date rosters are not a factor. Which version is the most fun to just pick up and play. Edit: it'll be the PS3 version I'll be playing

Depends. If you haven't played madden in a few years I'd recommend the newest one as the tutorials are the best in any Madden I can remember in my opinion.

You'd likely pick it up cheap enough used with the new one out next month.
