The boiler seems to come on and you can hear it running. However, there is no flame t be seen and is not heating the rads or the water.
Had it serviced in April and everything was reported to be fine.
Any help with what to do really appreciated.

By any chance is your flue outside damaged. As in the centre pipe, is the guard broke away?

    Could be anything
Does the boiler lockout as in reset needs to be attended
Is it a flashing red or solid red lockout light that illuminates??

I don't know what lockout means.
There is no red light on and pressing it does not seem to do anything.

    And the flue??

When you say you can hear it running, is it possible for you to go outside and feel if if there is any air blowing out through the end of the flue.
What ever is wrong with it, you will still need an RGI to take a look at it, why not get the person who serviced it back to check it?

The air is blowing out through the exhaust pipe on the wall outside. Everything seems to be working except that there is no flame in the little window.

I have called out Bord Gais for them to come out tomorrow

Probably air switch or venturi issue.

    Bord Gais guy called yesterday.
I wasn't around when he did the repair.
He told my wife that it was dirt somewhere in the top of the unit.
    Anyway, its running now
