ok, this is what you need to do click on this link.

    http://www.freetv.ie/amiko-mini-combo.html

then look closely and see VIDEO GUIDES, click on that, it may take a little while to open, then that lists all the instructions, and as you scroll down you will see the video guides as well.

Now the link posted by steveon is for a channel list only and it has to be loaded on a usb stick, it cant be opened by any laptop as its in a special format, it can only be used by the box.

so have a look at my link and see if you can see the guides. Once you see them it is easy. To help you here is a list of the topics covered.

Download the file I shared to your computer copy it to a USB pen. Then in the.menus simply load the file in the options of restoring database takes seconds.

I just run a new scan for the channels, and any new ones are added automatically.

Just a case then of moving some of the channels to the Groups then.

there is a little program called Amiko channel editor
you can do a new scan of stations then
on your box go to back up to usb

remove the usb and put it in your pc
then in the channel editor select .abs file

open it up move the channels around to the order you like save as .abs and load back into the box

You can delete a lot of them straight off the bat like sky sports and disney and the likes
Hold down ctrl and click the channels to get rid off
tedious but worth it in the end

Maybe when done you could post your updated list to help others ( cheeky i know ) :-)

Also its always a good idea to have a backup in case disaster strickes you dont want to be sorting them all again

Goto the time setting in the menu and goto bottom option and disable show clock and it will show u the channel name instead of the time on front of the box

Thank you but refers to the channel display on box.
But I am talking about the name of the programme on the tv screen when I select a a channel.
    Thanks though.
