trying to match a permanent hair colour to a semi permanent

I use l'oreal semi permanent colour mahogany. I can't find the same colour in their permanent range or unless it is never in stock when I look?? I'm getting fed up of regularly re-applying - i need to every 3 weeks or so - ie every 10 shampoos rather than every 24 or whatever they advertise... Anyone know? Thanks.
