Boards has decided to give communities such as the Weather Forum an opportunity advertise the forum around the site using customised banners.

The idea is that forums make their own banners to draw people in and hopefully encourage them to join in the discussion. Three forum banners will be chosen by the office each month and rotated for a month.

The Banners can be static or animated, humorous, silly, fun, but nothing illegal or inappropriate
Animated banners would work well for the weather forum I reckon! Also, if you have a good idea for a banner but don't have the photoshop skills, post it up here anyway - someone else might be able to bring your idea to life.

There are two blanks: leader board and skyscraper These dimensions are set in stone and for branding consistency, we have to keep the Boards.ie and the blue background.
