Are there any independent experts out there who's services can be hired for the purposes of Benefits advice, or help with the appeals process?

Recently had my claim disallowed subject to something i own being classed as a source of income.

However, it has never been source of income. Nor is it likely to be at any time in the forseeable future, as i don't hold a controlling interest in it.

    (thanks)

Do you want to give more detail. What do you own

The Department asked you to supply documentary evidence of your financial circumstances. You supplied it, they applied their means test and found that according to their calculations you don't need and financial help to live week to week. Unless you have further evidence which contradicts your original evidence, or you think there has been a miscalculation, it does happen, then there is little point in appealing on the grounds that you don't agree with how the means test is applied.

    Thanks for your condescension.
