Can anyone recommend index card software for a PC. Something you can colour code and move around. No bells and whistles.

I use the index cards for outlining story.

It's too cumbersome and I write on the go a good bit, so looking for something that will do a similar job on my laptop.

It's got bells and whistles, but have you tried Scrivener?
