Office Temperature - Unbearably hot,

I work in an modern office dominated by females, no mater how warm the office is there is somebody always complaining about how cold they are. As result the temperature of the office has slowly be raised over the years.
Currently the office is set between 24/ 25 degrees and looking around half the staff are wearing jumpers or cardigans even at this temperature.
I have tried sitting in different seats but no mater where I sit I find it unbearable hot and find I sweat constantly throughout the day.
I have suggested getting a mini fan but was advised this was not permissible as I would distort the airflow in the office and cause unrest with the female staff.
I am fit and healthy and do not have any health problems. I think it's unfair that others can put clothes on if they are cold, however, there is no options if you are too hot in the work environment.
    Any suggestions?

People who are feeling the cold could be beside extractor units. So even if the temperature is 24 degrees, they would still find it cold, because the extractor units suck air in, and that chills any air near them.

However, this is just one possible version, so you need to call in some ventilation experts

Do you know what the actual temp is in the office and not what it's setting is?

What's the temp like over near the people who are wearing jumpers saying it's cold over there?

This used to drive me mad when I worked in an office before. You're right, its always wooley jumper wearing women who are the problem. Opening the window even slightly was met with scowls and god help anyone who turned on the air con.

Why are Irish women always freezing? I think Des Bishop actually did a sketch on that topic before!
