Electrolux Frdge Freezer Problem

    Hi,

My problem is both fridge and freezer is not cooling despite compresser running. The pump is running fine but no cooling happening.
The heat sink at the back is not getting hot either.
I am thinking that the system is low on gas. Is it possible to add gas or are there repair guys out there that can do that?
My real question, would be is it cost effective to get it done rather than buy a new one?

    Thanks

most likely scenario is that it is down in gas, if you hear a surging of gas within the freezing coils inside it has a leak. two other faults can also cause no freezing, a blockage or a compressor not pumping. if you hear the surging noise forget about refilling it because it will have an internal leak and would leak again. check the pipework for traces of oil ,this would indicate the leak area
