    What's the best pre ride, ride, and recovery Food/drink/ supplements to take. Usual spins last 2-3 hours. 50-80 ins approximately. Thanks folks.

    Pre-ride : Porridge ( with optional dried fruit and nuts )
    Ride: Bananas and water .
    Post Ride: Chocolate Milk.

    No need for supplements.

    Before: espresso
    During: coldbrew
    After: latte

    Before : oatmeal with honey + strong drip coffee
    During : 2 electrolyte drinks per 100km, a 250kcal snack per hour, a coffee or two at stops.
    After : 30g protein (soy powder or a tub of cottage cheese), easy digested carbs (pasta, rice), beer.

    200g of pasta for breakfast (with some jam and peanut butter) worked very well for me on Evil 200, didn't have to eat until the first stop in Laragh - so 1,5h + 3h cycling :)

    Breakfast: bowl of corn flakes ( milk..no sugar)

    During the ride: banana and possibly a sandwich and coffee. On the bike I have a high5 drink 750ml

    After the ride: anything and everything! :)
