    The header on your post says Oil Boiler Service, the companies you mentioned only cover Gas boilers.
    If you need an Oil Boiler Service, you should get someone who has at least done the OFTEC course and who will ensure everything is correct before leaving.
    They should also use a flue gas analyser as part of the service, and use it to make any adjustments as required to ensure that the boiler is burning fuel efficiently.
    Post what part of the country you are in and someone will point you in the right direction.

    and how much a service done by an OFTEC Registered Technician usually cost?
