I'm willing to use my computer to fly a drone from here if that job is going.

Well, according to the news, it seems very easy for Brits to head over there and join or fight IS.

Suppose flights to Turkey, bus to border, cross border, pick a side, class and specialisation.

If I was going (which I'm not) this would be my 'top five' check list.

    1/ A small machine gun.
    2/ Big dagger.
    3/ Grenades.
    4/ Mobile phone.
    5/ Cyanide pill.

One way ticket to a hell hole, so I wouldn't put high odds on coming back alive.

Op makes it sound like a question about going to watch a band - "Anyone going to see Codaline?"

The joys of youth. Am I going? Oddly, no. Someone else will have to fight ISIS. I'll leave them to see how they get on, and if it starts getting obvious that it's a bit one sided, I'll weakly consider stepping in to lend a hand, once all other options are exhausted - like armies/governments/nato and stuff.

Do they offer a good package (dental plan, holiday time, bonuses)?
Who pays for the flights over, me or them?
What's the job interview like; is it tough?

Best of luck OP....like any war once your prepared to die (will/letter written)...I guess so for it
This seems a particularly worthwhile fight....for human rights and what not....but such savagery and fighting for a desert!

Though being honest it's something you'll not get much thanks for unless your a Muslim....guess they must be sick of westerners intervening

They're definitely sick of this guy:

OP, whatever you do, don't become that guy!

I don't even really know what to do with this, but I don't think it's appropriate for After Hours.

If anyone has any good reason to leave it open, drop me a PM or report this post. Ta.
