new phone, can't log into gmail

    Hi.

    Bought a new phone in the U.S. today and while trying to log into gmail it wants me to verify my account.
    Two options are to text on the code however I no longer have this number.
    The second being go into google settings and click verification code.

    The secind option is also not available. The option to verify account does not come up.

    Anyone can help ?:

    Is the code not sent to you at the moment of doing the whole verification thing? Has your phone number changed?

    It may be worth logging into your gmail account from a computer and seeing if you can set something up, verification-wise, from that end. Is your email linked to another email account? I believe they can send a verification code to THAT email in that case.
