Where do you buy your tools?

Just beginning a restoration job on a Capri, and I new to pick up a few bits to make life a little easier, I have a good selection of basic tools and have most bits to cover off a lot of jobs...

Do you use and Irish sites and how you find price vs quality and range?

I'm looking to get 1 or 2 torque wrenches to cover a range of bigger jobs to ensure doing it right, I need a joint splitter, compression test kit and was thinking of a compressor with a few air tools. Also some less used bits and bobs....

I do have a Halfords trade card and find their advanced and professional bits fairly good and the bits I have, lasted well a number of years...

    Depends what tools I need.

I have some from Lidl / Aldi. Some from Halfords (Professional) when they are on offer or stuck on a Sunday. Some bits from Machine Mart (engine crane, stand, jack, axle stands, etc.) Some ex-UK MoD Imperial / Whitworth stuff I was given. Most of my stuff has been bought on UK trips, but I did get my Britool torque wrench from E. Fox. in Baldonnell.

I've lost count of the number of socket sets I have. Even have a Norauto set that I bought in France when I was needing it on holiday.:pac:
