No Insurance tax or nct.

    I'm looking for any information or help I can get.

    I was driving my fiancées car which had no insurance (he told me it did or I wouldn't have driven it) no NCT (it was going for test 3 days later) no tax (out 3 months) it was a new car so he hadn't registered as new owner but he had put insurance from another vehicle on it temporarily which had lapsed! I however have my own fully comp insurance policy which allows me to drive other vehicles. The car has been seized which we will get tomorrow but if I produce proof I was insured just vehicle wasn't could I get out of court? I can also have tax and NCT within 10 days?? Guard just took car told me to sort insurance and I can get it Monday but told me I will be brought to court.

    Legal advice cannot be given on this forum. You need to speak with a solicitor regarding any criminal charges that may arise from this. The onus to ensure you are driving lawfully is on you, not your fiancé.
