I'll be honest, haven't a clue about cars and the Corsa is my first. It's an 08 petrol with 120km on her. I had it just under 3 months when I noticed a noise in the engine. Couldn't place it, few people I know said it was the chain cus it was that noisy, so my father brought it back to the dealer since I had a 3 month warranty. Dealer said a lifter(?) was gone in the engine and had it sorted in a few days. However it's now happened again and I'm wondering does anyone how serious a problem it is money wise? She's burning quite a bit of oil as I keep having to top it up and the heaters recently gone on the fritz, getting a burning, curry like smell in the cabin when it's on, so thinking I need to get rid anyways. Any help would be much appreciated.
