    hp_500b_microtower.jpg

I was given one of these the other day for free...

its a HP 500B MT business spec Microtower with a Pentium processor (with loads of memory)

its about 5 - 6 years old and was running fine before it was replaced by a more up to date unit,

problem is that although it has Windows 7 Pro stickers on it its running XP which I'm fairly sure is expired?

I was hoping to use it through my TV because I didnt get a monitor so I'll probably need a HDMI port fitted along with a WiFi card,

I'm wondering if its worth doing because all in all I'll need....

    1. XP wiped and Windows 7 installed
    2. HDMI port fitted
    3. WiFi card fitted (not necessary but would be handy)

oh and I wont be able to do any of this myself...
