I've been lucky enough to get entry for the Marathon Du Medoc this year and was wondering if anybody else is doing it.

What was involved in the entry process?
One I'd love to do soon!

It's hard to get into as it sells out within an hour or two and they never tell you exactly when it's going to open for registration, just vague references to opening ' in April'.

I just kept checking the webpage pretty much every couple of hours when I thought it was going to open. I missed the first wave, but was lucky to check it when they opened the second wave (at 7 pm one evening !).

Once you've registered, you need to get a medical cert uploaded, but you have a month or two to do that.

It's on my bucket list alright. No chance of getting a PB in this one with all the wine, oysters and ice cream on offer!

    Hope you enjoy it :pac:
