Thinking about buying baler/wrapper but only have a 390..what type of baler would I be able to run with this hp. Lookin at Krone as I hear they don't need much power. Would I be able to run a 1250 ? I see the kr130 are cheaper option..I don't want a chopped bale but I would still like as big/firm a bale as possible..I usually mow, tedd it, and then row it up...make it fairly dry when weather permits so wouldn't be baling really heavy wet stuff...any advice would be appreciated...

There must be a baler and wrapper buying frenzy going on here today.

How come your not not looking to get them chopped? Les wrapping and handling.

Presume that I don't have the hp for chopper baler so not that bothered..I presume I can just turn off the knives if I get a chopper baler so that baler is easier ran? Know little to nothing about balers

Chopper baler would be too much to ask of your 390.

We run a class 46 on a 390T but I'm pretty sure a 390 would run it with comfort. Produces nice firm bales but they are a little smaller than those produced by modern balers.

Does the claas 46 give much bother...would only bale for myself and probably 300 odd bales for an uncle beside me so would be taking it handy enough...any common problems with these balers?

Get a krone baler easy to drive and nothing in them to go wrong

No bother on the 390 to drive a standard baler. A contractor around here did thousands of bales with a standard krone baler and a Zetor 7745 back in the day. Know another contractor who ran a round baler, a welger I think, with a MF 675 also.

I've found it very reliable, but bearings do require replacing from time to time. It's a fairly simple machine.
