Integrated car seat?

I had a Passat years ago and was surprised when I was buying it that the 2 back seats had a button which popped the seat up and then it acted as a booster for smaller kids. UK import so had loads of extras. Found it really great but never thought about it again.

Now as family starts to grow I am actually looking at MPV's and seen the Seat Alhambra offers an integrated car seat which by the looks of it is the same thing as I had in Passat years ago.

Checked the Touran which I see is the exact same as the Alhambra but it doesn't seem to have the same option which I find weird.

Just wondering anyone know other cars/MPV/SUV that offer something similar?

The Touran is a bit smaller than the Alhambra, the Sharan would have been the VW version of the Alhambra but I don't think they sell the Sharan here anymore.

    Volvo XC60/XC90?

They decided to sell the sharan again. It was announced last week AFAIK.

Thanks, seen it is supposed to be available to buy straight away but still not on VW Ireland website....

I seen the same option available in the Merc E200 SW from 2002 models up. Really cool option I have to say. All cars suitable for family use should have them imo.

Yeah I found it really handy in the Passat, didn't see it ever again. It was only when I looked at the Seat I seen it as option....

Pity more cars dont give it as option

When did they stop selling the Sharan in ireland? I know they did but I saw a 132 sharan yesterday. Al Hayes sticker.

Curious to know if they were still selling in 132.

I think Volvo offers integrated dual-stage boosters as an option ( it's family pack) on its all-new 2015 V60 wagon as well as the XC60 SUV and XC70
