Deaths that would be a big news event across all mediums...

A lot of the famous people now won't be remembered in fifty years.
Not many transcend time.

As kneemos says, famous people die every day, they just aren't famous here and now.

In recent memory, there's only a few people that I can say will most definitely live on - the likes of Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Williams, Michael Jackson - people like that.

I would but all that's in the papers in kardashian this and that and BRUCE Jenner.

As outstanding an actor as he was, PSH will definitely not be remembered in the same breath as Robin Williams and Michael Jackson.
