If you think of all there really really famous actors, musicians, celebrities, infamous political leaders, Entertainers, sporting heroes etc. Personalities that transcend time

Deaths that would be a big news event across all mediums...

A lot of the famous people now won't be remembered in fifty years.
    Not many transcend time.

I'd rather hear about how Bruce jenners period is getting along than important things like war and all that jazz

As kneemos says, famous people die every day, they just aren't famous here and now.

In recent memory, there's only a few people that I can say will most definitely live on - the likes of Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Williams, Michael Jackson - people like that.

Why don't you read about the important things then, and not about CAITLYN Jenner?

As outstanding an actor as he was, PSH will definitely not be remembered in the same breath as Robin Williams and Michael Jackson.

Elvis turned 80 in January so he might be the next big one to go.

I dunno, maybe stop getting all your news from what you read in doctors waiting rooms?
