The Stafford Wholesale Wexford Two Day returns for 2015, on Saturday August 22 and Sunday August 23.

The location is the same, Camaross Hall, Co Wexford, the circuits are the same, the quarry hill and figure of 8 on Saturday, the hill climb Time trial, the through towns stage on sunday.

A few important changes have been made for 2015. The A4 race has been split into two single day races, one Saturday, one Sunday. There is no Time trial stage for A4.

The race is open to Juniors.

Timing this year is being handled by Alice Sherratt and Team, Frank Gibson.

Stage 1 is 3 laps of the Strava Segment this is my link of the same route from the A3 race last year.

    https://www.strava.com/activities/184557671

Stage 2 is advertised as 120, this was the 103km A3 race last year, it might well have an additional lap of the small loop to make it 120km, not sure.

    Hope that helps.

Am I reading this correctly?: Sunday's A4 race is 120km but neutralised for the first 25k or so??

sorry lads, was not following here, Saturday is 112 km as above and sunday is 103km as above.

120km is incorrect, there is no neutralised section anywhere. A4 now race the same distance as a1/ a2 race and the A3 race.

    Hi Michael,

Not sure if i can make it until the last minute, but judging from your mail above would I be correct in saying there are entries availalble on the day please?

    Cheers

What's the quickest way from New Ross to Camaross? Do you take the Wexford Road?

First time to do this, wanted to do it previous 2 years but it didn't work out for various reasons.

Very well organised race, almost every detail seemed to be looked after.

Thought Sunday's stage (tour of the towns) was a classic, it is not often you see a race on main roads and somebody somewhere must have a bit of clout to make it happen.

Did support for McNally swords for the weekend and loved it. A great experience.

Saturdays A3 stage had four cars out doing neutral services and confused me a lot. We were car 3 and told cars 1&2 would be the first port of call for riders, the first 3 punctures we came across cars 1&2 just drove past them. We stopped and swapped wheels. This was my first time doing neutral services but I thought the whole point was to be well eh neutral and look after everybody! By the time punctures 4&5 came along we ran out of spare back wheels and couldn't help them so the car behind us picked them up.
A junior had a nasty crash and we stopped to help him while waiting on the Ambo.
Passing A4 and racing back to A3 was great fun.
Sunday was a handy day and all team cars were out so only had to worry about our guys that thankfully didn't need us
