RTE News report of the Nasa 'Kelper' observatory discovery of an Earth like planet

    Utterly dismayed to hear this report last night on RTE News with the name of the spacecraft pronounced incorrectly as Kelper, instead of Kepler named after the german mathematician Johannes Kepler.

    All the more significant given the ignorance and stupidity endured by him and that initially influenced him which was prevalent in society during his time.

    It's RTE, i'm surprised they had any news at all about the discovery. Did they call Nasa "Naas"?

    Just, why bother like if it can't be reported properly. Thankfully it's a national news service at least.

    If you think that is bad they described the solar system as the galaxy on the 6.01 about a year ago.

    What's bad about messing up on Kepler is that there's a few Irish scientists working on it so you'd think the science correspondent would have a clue.
