    I see that the Cork News free sheet has gone into examinership.

    They are well documented in the ABC 'complaints area' where they were a little cavalier with sales figures - for their own publication and competitors.

    Also, whats about the FT - Pearson flogged it to a Japanese company. The staff seem none to happy as they Yen for a more European owner.

    Unsustainable losses for the cork freesheet with an old media legacy print operation.

    Less competition for the Evening Echo and other Cork print media basket cases. Might given them a short-term boost.
