Watching RTE 2 abroad using Hola

For a while I use to be able to watch all the GAA games on RTE using Hola! making the browser think I was based in Ireland and it worked great.

In the last few weeks/months it has stopped working because basically the video player will not load in the browser. TG4 works with it but not RTE, just wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions on how to get it working?

Also, I am aware of GAA Go which I do use sometimes but if I want to watch the two hurling games on Sunday it is going to cost me €28 which is a bit much, I'm willing to pay for 1 game but not for 2.

nope, it wont work on hola and RTE are making every effort it seems to make sure it stays not working.

There might be some places on the murkier end of the internet where a stream is to be found, but I dont know where to look any more as my regular places got shut down and even if I could, we arent supposed to mention such places.

it is a wonder that the GAA Go crowd dont do a buy one get one half price or that, because really who is going to pay €14 per game on a sunday afternoon.
BTW, the season pass is "only" €120 now if you intend watching a heap of games over the next while - but if you only want hurling then thats probably also not the most attractive proposition.

Or just listen to the one game on the radio online and then catch the other game on GAA go ?

Looks like it will be the pub then! Which to be honest, isn't so bad :D

It's a disaster. Can't watch a lot of content now where previously it worked fine with Hola.

Mod: Sorry guys. Boards rules don't allow discussions about using proxies and whatnot to access streams. Nor do they allow links to illegal streams.

    Closed.
