Renewing learners permit a third time

    I need to renew my out of date learners permit for a third time but have not booked a test in time or previously taken one. Will I be able to renew it?

    You need to show that you have booked a test. You can then reschedule the test but to renew the licence you need to show a confirmation of having booked the test

    You need a valid license to book a test though?

    No, you need a learner permit to take a test. You can book the test online. The confirmation is enough to renew your permit. You don't even need an actual test date. The booking alone is enough.
