We have a large circular patio that was installed a few years ago.... it has been made from real rock and is in a 'crazy paving' style. It looks nice but all the grout between the 'tiles' has broken down and the whole thing is now becoming inundated with weeds.

I want to regrout in the gaps..... but am unsure of how to mix grout. What do I need here?

Sand / concrete / bonder? What ratios?

I am not a builder nor much good at DIY so you may get better answers but...

When I was in Homebase couple of weeks back I saw on the shelf a bag of 'grout' for paving stones.

I have the same issue and whilst I wasn't specifically looking for it I would purchased some apart from it was coloured and I wanted simply plain.

Unless you get a better response, try the DIY chains...

    put beer in fridge
clean out all the crap and wash it off to get rid of the dust.
4 sand to 1 cement with a bit of plastering admix ( not washing up liquid) to make it sticky and require less water.
take care not to plonk it on the stone, it will satin irreversibly.
use a small stick to ram it down good and well.
    Clean up
    open beer

I'd go along with what Calahonda52 says.

If I was doing it ....... mix 3:1
sand:cement .... dry. Brush over slabs/stones into joints .......... then just use hose spray to dampen. The following day mix same ratio, add water 'til semi-dry, point joints (neatly) and clean up. A few hours later dampen with sprinkler. Finished!
If no beer left ........... send non drinking helper to offie! :)
